I am super excited to announce a few changes at Layton’s Chance! Our continued growth has created a need to split our current Tasting Room Manager/Events/Retail Sales position that has been held by our very own Pam Payne into two positions.
Pam has been promoted to Chief Brand Ambassador / Private Events Coordinator. She began working in the tasting room with Layton’s Chance in 2011, nearly our entire existence. Through the years her roles grew to include tasting room manager, event coordinator, wine club guru, and distribution manager. Pam embodies Layton’s Chance Vineyard & Winery. Her energy, love of life, and vast knowledge of wines and the wine business make her well-suited for this new role. We have grown together these last eight years and are excited about the future with Pam as our new Chief Brand Ambassador.
In Pam’s new position her primary role is creating stand out events that make both personal milestones memorable and business events worth talking about. She also assures that Layton’s Chance wines are available wherever adult beverages are sold, working with wine shops, liquor stores, distributors, and the buying public, both locally and online.
I am also excited to announce Christi Moxey as our new Tasting Room Manager and Public Events Coordinator. Christi is committed to creating the best environment and team so our guests can enjoy themselves. She has a background in retail and restaurant management and is ready for the fast-paced tasting room. Her primary role is to ensure that guests have the best experience possible and employees have everything they need to make that happen. Her hospitality experience, positive attitude and management skills make her ideally suited for Layton’s Chance. Our guests and her colleagues will both be well-served with Christi here. If you haven’t had a chance to meet to Christi yet stop by the tasting room and say hello! She is also the one to contact if you have any ideas for new public events!
