Loki and Harvest!
For those of you who have not met him, let me introduce Loki, our newest edition! This little pup has created quite the stir around here as everyone wants to know what kind of dog he is. Stay tuned as we are doing a doggie DNA test on him to find that out! Bo has taken to him well, and they have become fast friends, playing until Bo decides she has had enough!
When walking him around the winery in the morning, you can hear the hum of harvest! There are the sounds of our grain harvest with equipment moving about and the grain dryer going. Then you have the sounds of the vineyard harvest and crush happening. The Kabota is bringing the grapes in from the vineyard, the winepress is inflating, and we can’t forget the pumps that are chugging away to put our juice into the tanks where William begins fermentation! If you come out for a visit (especially on a weekday) take a minute and see if you can hear the sounds of harvest!
