Jen Layton Makes French Dip Subs on Delmarvalife!
French Dip Sandwich
Great Recipe for cold days!!
- 1 Beef rump roast
- 2 t. Kosher salt, 1/2 t. pepper
- 2 t. Vegetable oil
- 1 cup red wine (recommended: Layton’s Chance Farm Red)
- 1 large onion sliced
- 15 oz Beef broth
- Dried onion soup mix
- 2 loaves French bread
Brown the meat in a large roasting pan with oil, salt and pepper. Add browned meat to a slow cooker. Pour wine into used meat pan and reduce for 2 min. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and cook on low for 5 hours.
